Education and qualifications:

• • Required: PhD in Biomedicine in the last 3 years
• • Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)

Experience and knowledge:

Required:
• • Experience in molecular and cell biology
• • Specific training in the use of gene editing tools for neuromuscular diseases
• • Knowledge in Bioinformatics and statistics
• • Experience in animal models (including maintenance and management of mouse colonies)
• • Ability to work in multidisciplinary research teams
• • Teaching experience
• Desired:
• • Knowledge of science communication and women in science activities
• • Enrolment in outreach activities
• • Leadership abilities
• • At least 3 years of postdoctoral experience

Benefits

Labour conditions:

• • Full-time position: 40h/week.
• • Starting date: January 1st 2026.
• • Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
