Eligibility criteria

CRITERIA AND MERIT EVALUATION:

• • Academic record of higher education (bachelor's degree, engineering, or architecture): maximum 15 points, if it certifies a minimum of 30 ECTS credits in statistics, operations research, mathematics, and computing; if this minimum is not certified, the score obtained will be multiplied by 0.5.
• • Master's degree academic record (master's degree in statistics and operations research or related field): maximum 15 points. If the master's degree is not in statistics and operations research or a related field, the score obtained will be multiplied by 0.5.
• • Publications related to the tasks to be performed: maximum 40 points. Up to 10 points for each publication, taking into account its quality.
• • Personal interview: maximum 25 points.
• • Other research merits (participation in conferences, awards received, other degrees obtained): maximum 5 points. Up to 3 points for each merit, taking into account its relevance.
• The maximum score is 100 points. The committee may declare the call void if no candidate reaches 80 points. If there are several candidates with more than 80 points, the committee will propose the candidate with the highest score for the contract and will also propose a waiting list with the other candidates with more than 80 points.

Selection process

• • WHERE TO APPLY: UDC online services site. Applications should be addressed to the Office of the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Transference, and include the call reference.
• • DEADLINE: 5 working days from the day following the publication of the call on the official bulletin board of the UDC online services site.

Additional comments

General required documentation:

• 1. Copy of national identity document or passport;
• 2. Copy of degree certificate in Spanish or English. If obtained outside the European Union it must be apostilled or legalised by the Spanish Embassy;
• 3. CV in English or Spanish/Galician;
• 4. Responsible declaration that the requirements of the call are fulfilled;
• 5. Responsible declaration of the veracity of the data stated in the application.

DOCUMENTATION TO BE SUBMITTED WITH THE APPLICATION:

• • Photocopy of academic degrees and corresponding academic transcripts;
• • Curriculum vitae including references for all publications;
• • Statement that the requirements of the call for applications are met;
• • Statement of the accuracy of the information provided in the application;
• • Supporting documents for all claimed merits. Merits that are not documented will not be considered;
• • In the case of degrees obtained in a language other than Spanish or Galician, the documentation must be accompanied by the corresponding translation and the form declaring the equivalence of the average grade of university academic records obtained in foreign institutions;
