Job Summary/offer: Involvement in teaching of students, primary at the extension of the Vetmeduni in Tyrol, but partially also at other locations of the Vetmeduni; participation in research projects and development of independent research topics in the frame of the workgroup “Ruminant Medicine in the Alpine Region”, postgraduate training in ruminant medicine (specialist in ruminant medicine, residency of the ECBHM).

Specific Requirements

Mandatory qualifications: Doctoral degree in veterinary medicine; experiences in ruminant medicine (bovine, small ruminants); very good English writing and speaking skills (C1); very good German writing and speaking skills (C1, contact with local veterinary practitioners and cattle owners required). Additional desired qualifications: Teamwork, high level of dedication and commitment, highly developed communication skills; experiences in teaching; experiences with research projects and scientific publications; ascertained additional trainings and certificates relevant to the field; experiences with SPSS or other statistic programs.
