Mission:

Design and build an experimental device to study the growth of biofilms under controlled turbulent flow conditions.


Functions to be developed:

  • • Design and build an experimental device to study the growth of biofilms under controlled turbulent flow conditions.
  • • Plan and execute experimental campaigns; analyze and interpret results from both a physical and modeling perspective.
  • • Manage the acquisition of experimental equipment and materials, including the relationship with suppliers and technical services.
  • • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary research teams; write scientific articles and technical reports.
  • • Present results at national and international conferences; ensure adequate data management and reproducibility of experimental results.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Technical Skills:
  • • Laboratory work and experimental setup.

Specific Requirements

  • Knowledge:
  • • Experimental Fluid Mechanics.
  • • Biological Fluid Mechanics.
  • Professional Experience:
  • • Design and development of experimental flow circuits.
  • • Running experimental campaigns.
  • • Applications of biological fluid mechanics.
  • • Experience in functions similar to those described will be valued, specifically in the development of research activities, both in the university and industrial environment.
