The research group led by Veronika Ertl at the Laboratoire de Mathematiques Nicolas Oresme, Universités de Caen Normandie, FRANCE, is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a postdoctoral position for up to 24 months in the project "Aspects of rigid Hyodo-Kato theory" funded by Région Normandie in the framework of the CPJ programme.


About the project: The project is devored to the study of aspects of p-adic Hodge theory and p-adic differential equations. An important aspect is the research of p-adic cohomology theories, such as (logarithmic) rigid cohomology, from different viewpoints, and different methods, such as rigid analytic geometry, motives, derived geometry, etc.

Skills/Qualifications

  • • A PhD in mathematics is required before starting employment.
  • • Expertise in an area closely related to the project will be a significant advantage.
  • • Good communication skills in English are expected, knowledge of French is helpful but not necessary.
