  • • participation in the implementation of educational, scientific-research and artistic work as well as performing other tasks specified in the regulations of the University of Primorska (UP) and its members,
  • • conducting various forms of practical exercises and training students in the subject according to the instructions of the course holder, collaborating with the teacher in the preparation and execution of student assessments and other pedagogical activities,
  • • preparing teaching materials, equipment, and tools for the execution of practical classes,
  • • providing consultations to students and mentoring and/or co-mentoring students in accordance with the regulations of UP and its members,
  • • engaging in scientific-research activities, transferring the results of scientific research into the study process, and participating in activities related to pedagogical and scientific-research work in the field,
  • • carrying out other professional and developmental tasks that contribute to fulfilling the university’s mission and enhancing the reputation of the university, its members, and the discipline,
  • • participating in the work of bodies, working groups, and committees of the university or its memebers,
  • • performing other tasks as assigned by superiors.


The employment relationship will be concluded full-time 40 hours per week (100%), for a fixed period of 18months. The start of work is on 1 December 2026 or in accordance with the agreement.



Skills/Qualifications

  • • applicants must possess a PhD in Mathematics or a related area,
  • • active knowledge of one world language,
  • • computer skills,
  • • ability to handle audiovisual equipment,
  • • teamwork skills,
  • • organizational skills,
  • • advisory skills,
  • • independence,
  • • communication skills,
  • • practical skills.

Specific Requirements

  • • valid election to the academic/scientific title, or meets the requirements for election to this title at University of Primorska.
