Skills/Qualifications

• • A doctoral degree in technical sciences, particularly materials science, obtained within the last 5 years;
• • Experience in conducting scientific research in the field of surface layer materials engineering and the ability to produce thin protective coatings, documented by publications and education; knowledge of high-power pulse magnetron sputtering confirmed by scientific publications;
• • Research experience documented by publications in the analysis of the relationships between the composition, microstructure, and the mechanical, physical, and tribological properties of thin films;
• • Authorship or co-authorship of at least 5 publications in JCR-listed journals since 2020;
• • Proven research activity; management of a research grant is desirable; 6. Knowledge of vacuum technology and the ability to design experimental setups.
• • Good knowledge of experimental methods used in surface layer engineering, including the operation of devices such as a sputtering chamber with magnetrons, an instrumental microhardness tester, a scratch tester, an electron microscope, and spectroscopes used in the laboratory.
• • Very good command of Polish and English, both spoken and written (laboratory equipment documentation in Polish).
• • Motivation, commitment, independent thinking, and innovative approach to conducting scientific research.
