1. Taking part in the analysis (neutral mesons production) of data collected in elementary reactions p+p with the HADES detector at GSI/FAIR facility, Germany,

2. Joining the HADES collaboration and the relevant Physics Working Group, participating in weekly deliberations and active participation in its meetings (at least every few weeks),

3. Taking part in the Low Level Data Analysis (detector calibration etc.)

4. Taking part in data-taking (experimental shifts),

5. Presentation of results at meetings and conferences, as well as writing scientific articles and publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals.

Skills/Qualifications

  • - Ph.D. in nuclear or particle physics obtained not earlier than 7 years before the starting year of employment in the project (can be prolong due to documented health problems or parental leave)
  • - Experience in experiments in the field of nuclear physics or elementary particles of high or intermediate energy,
  • - Good programming skills (C/C++)
  • - Good knowlegde of ROOT Cern package
  • - Good presentation skills
  • - Good command of English

Additional advantage will be:

  • - Knowlegde of AI (neural networks etc.) methods
