The Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb invites applications for:

• • One (1) position of Senior Research Assistant (m/f) in the scientific field of Transport and Traffic Technology (technical sciences), for a full-time, fixed-term position (2 years), at the Department of Traffic Signalling, within the Croatian Science Foundation project UIP-2025-02-1083 titled: “Multi-stage Simulation Framework for evaluating the impact of Autonomous Mobility on Motorways throughput and safety (VAMONA)”.

Applicants must meet the general requirements prescribed by the Croatian Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette 119/2022), and must submit appropriate documentation.

Application must include:

• • A signed application
• • Europass-format CV
• • Proof of eligibility, including PhD diploma
• • Electronic record from the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (HZMO) regarding employment history
• • Proof of citizenship (a copy of the certificate of nationality or ID card)
• • (Optional) Evidence of scientific, teaching, and professional activity

Applicants with foreign academic degrees must provide a decision on the recognition of foreign higher education qualifications (https://www.azvo.hr/hr/ured-enic-naric/priznavanje-kvalifikacija/).
