The ambition of FLUxIA is to propose a new method of producing a molecule from the corticosteroid family by adopting an innovative approach combining an original and sustainable synthesis route with a production method based on the concepts of Industry 5.0. The strategy adopted in the FLUxIA project revolves around three main objectives: i/ a new strategy for the introduction of a sulfur atom, ii/ a new fluorination strategy, iii/ a new continuous synthesis approach integrating real-time monitoring and adaptation, assisted by artificial intelligence (AI). The research fellow will also strongly interact with the team of chemical synthesis. The Research Institute CEISAM is the molecular chemistry laboratory of Nantes Université, located in a recently constructed building that provides cutting edge facilities. CEISAM is located in the vibrant city of Nantes.


Skills/Qualifications

• PhD in Chemical Synthesis or Chemical Engineering

• Strong skills in organic synthesis and flow chemistry. An experience in electrochemistry is a plus

• The candidate must be fluent in English. Basic level in French is a plus
