We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join the project “Epigenetic Clock in Schizophrenia in Aged Adults (EpigeNetic CLOck in SchizophrEnia – in Aged adults)”, funded by La Marató (Project 358/U/2022). This project investigates the hypothesis of accelerated aging in schizophrenia, focusing on the analysis of the epigenetic clock in older adults.

Position Requirements:

• • Demonstrated experience in functional brain connectivity analysis and structural MRI data analysis.
• • Strong background in neuroscience and psychology.
• • Experience working with clinical datasets, neuropsychological assessments, and pathology-related biomarkers.

We are looking for a highly motivated researcher with expertise in neuroimaging and clinical neuroscience who is eager to contribute to advancing our understanding of aging mechanisms in schizophrenia.

Required functions include: 

Provide support in the creation of databases.

Preprocessing and analysis of neuropsychological and neuroimaging data, including their integration with clinical and epigenetic datasets. 

Collaborate in the dissemination of scientific results.

Previous experience in the field of functional brain connectivity analysis and structural analysis of magnetic resonance imaging data, knowledge in neuroscience and psychology. Experience in analysis of clinical, neuropsychological and pathology biomarker data.
