Employment starting from October 1, 2026, for 33 months. Upon successful evaluation before the contract ends, the contract may be extended to an indefinite period.

Skills/Qualifications

Candidate must:

– Meet the requirements set out in Article 113 of the Law on HigherEducation and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571,consolidated text)

– Hold a Ph.D. degree in biological sciences or a related field obtained no more than 4 years before the application deadline (i.e. not earlier than May 22, 2022). This period may be extended by the duration of documented long-term sick leave (over 90 days) or rehabilitation leaves received due to inability to work, as well as by the time spent on parental or childcare-related leave.

– Have significant scientific achievements documented by publications in renowned international journals, invitations to deliver lectures or seminars, etc.

– Have international experience, e.g.: participation in international conferences, engagement in international research projects, international collaborations documented by joint publications.

– Have teaching experience, e.g.: conducting classes with students, supervising theses, science outreach, etc.

– Submit a research plan outlining personal scientific development.

– Present a teaching proposal complementing the Faculty's current offer.

– Obtain approval from the director of the institute or another internal unit within the Faculty of Biology where the candidate intends to work, confirming availability of office and lab space and inclusion in teaching hour allocation.
