Resolution of July 22, 2026, of the Aragon Health Research Institute Foundation (IIS Aragon), announcing a Postdoctoral Researcher position for Group B Projects [Ref. RRHH-26/034]

Required requirements:

  • • Degree in Medicine and Surgery or equivalent.
  • • Doctoral degree in the area of ​​Biomedical Sciences.
  • • Twelve months of experience in research with perfusion, preservation or maintenance of ex vivo organs in normothermic perfusion machines.

The main functions to be developed are:

  • • Collaboration in the cannulation of porcine organs from slaughterhouses, under the supervision of the Project Manager or the Unit Manager.
  • • Participation in the cannulation and extraction of porcine organs from animal models, following established research protocols.
  • • Support in training in the extraction and cannulation of porcine kidneys and livers for platform and IISA staff.
  • • Performing perfusion of isolated organs (liver, kidney) ex vivo in advanced perfusion machines.
