LACES was created in 2007 and restructured in 2014. Its multidisciplinary dimension remains visible in the fields of research and science represented: Educational Sciences, Sciences and techniques of physical activities and sports, Languages and cultures.

It occupies a very visible place both at the regional level and at the national and international levels, in the field of analysis of public policies and intervention mechanisms, prevention, professionalization and cultural and social inclusion.

As part of the Horizon Europe project Unintentional discrimination detected and racism reveal and deactivate UNDETERRED, coordinated by the University of Bordeaux, we are hiring a European Project manager W/M.

The UNDETERRED project aims to strengthen the fight against racial, ethnic and religious inequalities experienced by the younger generation of some immigrants (persons of North African, sub-Saharan and Turkish origin or descendants identified as residing in the neighbourhoods and universities studied) and national minorities in Europe (Roma and Gypsies).

Main activities:

You will work under the supervision of the director of the laboratory and the functional manager of the project leader. Your mission will be carried out in close collaboration with the project’s scientific team (including the assistant to the coordinator and the local team representative) and the laboratory’s administrative and financial team.

# Project monitoring

• • You plan and organize consortium meetings in conjunction with the scientific coordination team
• • You ensure compliance with and the updating of project management procedures according to the rules defined in the consortium agreement and the project management handbook
• • You assume the role of interface with the European Commission and update the portal with project information: submission of deliverables, milestones

# Administrative and financial coordination

• • You are responsible for the proper application of the obligations described in the grant agreement and consortium agreement, and for monitoring their implementation with the partners
• • You coordinate the preparation of reporting periods for the entire consortium: explanation of the rules, preparation of reporting tools, data compilation, monitoring of subsidy consumption
• • You ensure the financial follow-up of the allocated grant in collaboration with the laboratory managers and the support of the Europe-International Office for Project Preparation and Monitoring
• • You alert the coordination team and the relevant departments in case of deviations (deadlines, deliverables, risks, budget) and are proactive in restoring the trajectory

# Dissemination

• • You facilitate the flow of information and keep the project’s digital work environment and the directory up to date
• • You support the actions of the consortium in terms of communication, dissemination, and exploitation of results joint with the University of Bucharest
• • You propose and organize communication and dissemination actions for the project among the scientific community, as well as the general public in Bordeaux
• • You update the Zenodo platform with public deliverables and other open project results
