Title: Advancing Diffractive Optical Elements:

Dynamic Fabrication and Application Optimization Using Laser Multi-Photon Lithography

The two-year postdoc fellowship project will aims exploring the performance and application of Diffractive Optical Elements (DOEs) manufactured via laser Multi-Photon Lithography (MPL). These efforts targets to advance DOE fabrication and their implementation for integrated optical microscopy and precision laser processing. It is aligned with the currently carried research activities within Laser Nanophotonics Group (LNF: Laser nanophotonics group - Faculty of Physics) and aligns with Lithuania's industry interests (LLA: Lithuanian laser association | Lithuanian laser association). 

The intended work will include development of the MPL technique towards advanced additive manufacturing specifically optimized for micro-optical elements and integrated components. Such novel photonic devices will be characterized depth for their properties and their performance will be assessed employing standard and lab-built equipment. Novel materials will be selected and post-processing methods will be applied for enhancing the functionalities of the DOEs.

The project will be conducted at the Laser Nanophotonics Laboratory, Laser Research Center (Laser Research Center - Faculty of Physics), Physics Faculty (Home - Faculty of Physics). This position should be addressed to Prof. Dr. Mangirdas Malinauskas.

Budget:

Staff cost: full-time work position – 3096 Eur/per month (all taxes included).
