We are looking for a highly motivated and creative postdoctoral researcher to work in the field of peptide chemistry and stimuli-responsive biomaterials. To this end, the ideal candidate will focus on solid-phase peptide synthesis strategies to produce smart peptide-based biomaterials with antibacterial potential.


The selected candiate will join a highly interdisciplinary environment at the Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering (BBT) group (https://biomaterials.upc.edu/en), in an expanding research line under the supervision of Dr. Maria Godoy-Gallardo and Dr. Carles Mas-Moruno. 


This position is part of the Project “Dynamic and stimuli-responsive multifunctional biomaterials: addressing cell instructive and antibacterial properties for bone tissue engineering (Dynamic)” funded by the Spanish Research State Agency (AEI).
