Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a fulltime or part-time position , as a post-doctoral researcher with the College of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences (Speech Language Therapy) at the University of Galway, Ireland.


This position is funded by the University of Galway and is available from September 1st, 2025, to the contract end date of August 31st, 2027 (if full-time) or August 31st, 2029 (if part-time).

Salary: Postdoctoral Researcher salary scale €45,846 - €58,481 per annum (subject to the project’s funding limitations), and pro rata for shorter and/or part-time contracts.

The default position for all new public sector appointments is the 1st point of the salary scale. However, this may be reviewed, and consideration may be afforded to appointment at a higher point on the pay scale (subject to the project’s funding limitations), where evidence of prior years’ equivalent experience is accepted in determining placement on the scale above point 1, subject to the maximum of the scale.
