DESCRIPTION (subject, expectations, comments): We are looking for a person strongly motivated to carry out both teaching and experimental work. We expect the employee to conduct classes at both the first and second degree studies in Polish and English.

Candidate entering the competition should meet the following requirements:

• should have Ph.D. in the field of chemical sciences, chemistry or chemical technology (possible Ph.D. defense till the end of February 2026),
• have knowledge and practical skills in the field of organic and bioorganic chemistry, biotechnology, creation of colloidal systems,
• have knowledge and practical skills in the field of methods of preparing and analysis of biomimetic systems imitating cells of micro- and macroorganisms,
• scientific achievements documented by scientific articles and conference communications,
• have completed scientific internships or training in Poland and abroad,
• have experience in managing research projects,
• have knowledge of Polish and English at a level enabling free scientific communication.

The tasks of the person to be employed in this position will include duties in the following areas:

• assessment of toxicity and biological activity of organic compounds, including pharmaceuticals
• synthesis and biosynthesis and isolation of bioorganic compounds,
• analysis of surface properties of surface-active compounds, including emulsifiers, substances modifying hydrophobic properties of surfaces, etc.
• creation of colloidal biomimetic systems and assessment of their interaction with biologically active compounds,
• application of gas chromatography techniques in the analysis of organic and bioorganic compounds,
• conducting didactic classes in Polish and English,
• acquisition and implementation of research projects, establishing cooperation and carrying out research in cooperation with other domestic and foreign units.
