We are seeking a highly motivated candidate, who will support a multidisciplinary project on gene cooperativity in liver cancer and strategies to target cancer vulnerabilities with onco- immuno- therapies. The main tasks will be:

• Generation of liver cancer mouse models using the hydrodynamic tail vein injection, their histological and molecular characterisation.

• Cell culture, preparation of tumoroids, generation and manipulation of CAR-T cells, and their characterisation.

• Molecular studies using single-nuclei RNAseq, proteomics, biochemistry.

Skills/Qualifications

The candidates should:

Hold a PhD degree in biology or related subjects;

Have experience on liver cancer, liver cancer mouse models, mouse colony handing, molecular mechanisms, FAC analysis, and CAR-T cells;

Have a very good experience in cell culture of mammalian cell lines, histological and immunostaining techniques;

Be familiar with molecular biology techniques and bioinformatics;

Be able to design and carry out a variety of experiments, as well as to analyse and synthetize the raw experimental results, with a good level of independency;

Be fluent in English, as it is the working language;

Possess a very good organisational and communication capability.
