Job Duties:

• Independent research in the field of empirical health economics
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals
• Habilitation in (health) economics
• Participation in joint research projects of the department or institute
• Teaching individual courses at bachelor's and master's level
• Supervision of research and teaching assistants

Your Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must hold a completed Ph.D. or doctoral studies in economics
• Excellent knowledge of microeconometric methods
• Knowledge of the Austrian healthcare system
• Experience in analyzing large individual data sets, including programming skills
• Good knowledge of health economics
• Ability to teach in English (level B2+), German skills desirable (level B2+)
• Motivation, social skills, teamwork, and communication skills
