Job description

– conducting scientific and research work,

– conducting teaching activities for the needs of the Crime Prevention Department, including in the following areas:

- national security,

- internal security strategy,

- threats to security,

- creating safe spaces,

- crisis management;

- civil protection and civil defence,

- research methodology,

– participating in organisational work for the University, including the implementation of tasks within task forces appointed by the Commandant -Rector

Requirements

• holding a postdoctoral degree in social sciences in the field of security studies,
• in the case of employment, the Police Academy in Szczytno will be the primary place of work,
• submitting a statement on representing the field of security studies,
• submitting a statement on being included in the group of research and teaching staff (the so-called N number) in the field of security sciences at the Police Academy in Szczytno,
• documented publication record in the field of security sciences,
• teaching experience in first- and second-cycle studies
• conducting classes on issues related to:

- national security,

- security strategy,

- security threats,

- creating safe spaces,

- scientific research methodology,

• experience in acquiring and implementing research projects

Additional requirements/skills

• knowledge of a foreign language, both spoken and written (preferably English or German),
• professional experience in performing tasks in various positions, including managerial positions in uniformed services,
• experience in commanding police operations,
• experience in organisational work and performing functions at universities

3) my personal data will be processed in order to conduct a competition open to the position described in the job offer at the Police Academy in Szczytno, in accordance with the Labour Code and Article 6 (1) (a) of the RODO Act;

4) the recipients of my personal data may only be entities entitled to obtain personal data on the basis of legal regulations and companies supporting the Academy in IT assistance;

5) my personal data will be processed for the period specified in the regulations on archiving or withdrawal of my consent to their processing;

6) I have the right to demand from the controller access to my personal data, the right to rectify, erase or limit the processing, the right to transfer the data, the right to withdraw consent at any time;

7) I have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Supervisory Authority;

8) providing personal data by me is voluntary, but necessary to achieve the above mentioned purpose;

9) the reply to the offer in the form of submitting the required documents shall be regarded as the consent to the processing of my personal data;

10) withdrawal of consent for the processing of my personal data shall be executed by submitting a request to the Human Resources Department of the Police Academy in Szczytno, Poland.
