Junior Research Group Leader (f)

focusing on research into polymeric and self-organized materials, to be investigated with modern experimental methods with regards to their structure and dynamics.

As a junior research group leader, you will pursue a larger research project with your own budget, hosted by the Institutes of Chemistry and Physics, where you can use our state-of-the-art facilities including x-ray scattering, solid-state NMR, EPR, rheology, fast DSC, AFM and many more.

You can fill the position of a doctoral researcher as soon as the junior research group is established. Both you and the doctoral researcher will be associated with the Research Training Group RTG 2670 "Beyond Amphiphilicity" (https://beam.uni-halle.de/).

Additional positions might be obtained through further third-party funding.

You have the opportunity to qualify for a professorship (e.g. habilitation) and gain the necessary teaching experience. By requirement of the funding body, this opening is directed to female researchers on an advanced-stage post-doctoral level.
