Position open for a 1-year postdoc (extendable for 3 years) in Jakub Zakrzewski group, starting preferably January 1, 2026 in Spin and Hubbard Models in a cavity QED setting (SPINHUBQ) project founded by SNF for collaboration Switzerland (Tilman Essxlinger) - Hungary (Peter Domokos) - Poland.
The applicant should be a creative researcher with a background in quantum optics/many-body physics/quantum dynamics.


Skills/Qualifications

3+years research experience in one of the following: modern condensed matter theory/cold atoms/quantum information/quantum simulators/quantum optics supported by good publication record, • good programming skills (python/julia, c++), • fluency in written and spoken English, • creativity, • ability to work in the group.
