We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with a focus on process development for light-driven hydrogen production. A fully funded position (100% E13/E14 TV-L) with a flexible starting date is available. Together, we will develop scalable processes to deploy photocatalysis for hydrogen production.



Skills/Qualifications
  • - PhD in chemical engineering, process engineering or a related field
  • - Experience in working with catalytic processes
  • - Experience in the construction of lab-scale miniplants, including reactor design and downstream processing
  • - Ideally familiarity with process simulation software such as Aspen Plus or DWSIM
  • - Ideally familiarity with 3D printing and other rapid prototyping techniques
  • - Strong teamwork and communication skills, growth mindset and passion for scientific research
  • - Good command of written and spoken English (German proficiency is not required)
