I hereby announce a competition for the post of assistant professor in the group of full-time teaching staff at the Fr. Bronisław Markiewicz State University of Applied Sciences in Jarosław.
The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions set out in the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018. (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended).

Job description/scope of duties:

• Teaching,
• conducting research,
• active participation in the academic, teaching and organisational work of the Department.

1. Qualification requirements:

• possession of a doctoral degree in social sciences in the discipline of legal sciences,
• current scientific output in the area of administrative law,
• having seniority as a university teacher,
• having work experience.

2. List of required documents:

• declaration of participation in the competition,
• application addressed to the Rector,
• Curriculum Vitae,
• copies of documents confirming education: MA, PhD,
• personal information form for candidates applying for employment,
• no-criminal record statement;
• consent clause for job applicants,
• list of scientific, didactic and organisational achievements
• documented professional experience,
• a declaration made by the candidate that The Fr. Bronisław Markiewicz State University of Applied Sciences in Jarosław will be the primary place of work in the event of winning the competition,
• statement of availability.

Please be advised that only selected individuals will be contacted. The University reserves the right to interview candidates. The University reserves that one of the criteria for determining the competition may be the presentation of a lecture (class concept) to verify teaching skills. The University reserves the right to cancel the competition procedure at any stage without providing reasons.

Foreign language documents submitted to the competition must be translated into Polish by a sworn translator. In the case of obtaining a degree outside Poland, a document certifying the equivalence of the degree and title held with the Polish equivalent should be attached (if the issuance of such a document is provided for in the relevant legislation). A good command of the Polish language is required.

Concluding a selection process, which will take place by 20.11.2025, is not tantamount to the establishment of an employment relationship with PANS in Jarosław. The final decision is made by the Rector.
