The candidate will participate in the development of the eCan Plus project (Enhancing the digital capabilities of cancer centres in the European Union to improve prevention and care). Their duties and tasks will mainly focus on the execution of work packages 1 (Coordination), 3 (Evaluation) and 6 (Collaborative clinical decision-making in treatment and care in cancer centres). You will participate in the identification of molecular biomarkers using computational approaches that improve diagnostic and prognostic decision-making in European cancer centres.

Basic requirements of the position:

Required qualifications: The candidate must hold a PhD in biological, biomedical or computational fields.

Experience required:

Bioinformatic analysis of genomic data
Participation in cancer research projects
Scientific communication and teaching experience

Merits:

Training
1. Master's degree in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology
2. High level of spoken and written English
3. Complementary activities in Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Biomedicine
Knowledge of programming languages: R, Python
Experience in web development and other programming languages
Experience in bioinformatic analysis of sc-RNA data
