The researcher's tasks cover the following five areas :

• Organizing and conducting biological monitoring campaigns (MOORREEF stations, sampling, taxonomic surveys, morphological analyses, and biomass measurements), including citizen scientist programm

• Implement and use a specific measurement protocol to characterize algal and mixed communities (fauna/flora)

• Contribute to hydrodynamic tests conducted in test tanks with the University of Massachusetts (experimental protocol, drag and induced load analyses)

• Develop fluid-structure growth and interaction models incorporating biocolonization

• Manage the project (steering committee meetings, partner coordination, budget monitoring) and promote it in various forms (scientific reports, scientific articles, conferences, design notes for Seaturns company)


Duration of contract : 12 months

Salary : € 2.750 gross per month
