Job Duties:

• Conduct independent research and collaborate as part of the group's machine learning projects
• Publish in renowned international journals and present at conferences
• Supervise students and support lectures of the institute

Your Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. in Computer Science or comparable qualifications
• Strong background and impressive track record in Symbolic Machine Learning, in particular Inductive Classification Rule Learning and/or Boolean Circuit Learning
• Publications or Thesis in the above topics are advantageous
• Experience in the support of lectures and the supervision of students in German and English
• Willingness and ability to work in a team
• Excellent English and German skills (level C1)
