We are seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral fellow with previous experience on the neuroscience field to join Dr Moreno´s lab, the Neuronal and Tissue Regeneration Lab (http://www.cipf.es/regeneracion-neuronal) at the CIPF.

The post-doc will experimentally lead and develop a therapeutic strategy based on cell therapy, by neural precursor cell transplantation for SCI treatment. The project implies in vivo and in vitro studies, with histological, molecular and cellular related mechanism of action analysis. The Post-doc will be also involved in the project management and dissemination as well as on the training and supervision of PhD students, writing manuscripts and presentation of results, and participation in regular meetings, etc.

Basic requirements of the position:

• Required qualification: Candidates must have a PhD related to Biomedicine or Health Sciences.
• High level of English, written and spoken.

Experience required:

• High level of spoken and written English
• At least 4 years of post-doctoral experience, distributed into different groups
• Experience in the neuroscience field, preferent within the spinal cord injury field
• Experience in the field of molecular biology and knowledge of cell biology modification tools will be positively valued
• Good communicator, assertive and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Course for experimental animal work (categories B or more)
