Skills/Qualifications

• - Expertise in research techniques related to industrial history and large companies (particularly networked companies) in the energy and automotive sectors, as well as labour relations in Europe during the 20th century.
• - Knowledge of European industrial and business history during the 20^(th) century.
• - Experience of archival and document management tools and resources, statistical methods and editing publications for scientific and cultural dissemination.
• - Experience of participating in state-funded scientific research projects.
• - Ability to present results through well-structured reports, scientific articles and presentations.
• - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex data to various stakeholders, including non-experts.
• - Good interpersonal skills are required to collaborate with project partners, researchers, data managers, and other stakeholders in different disciplines.
• - Proficiency in the language of one of the European Union countries participating in the project (Italy, Portugal or Germany), other than Catalan and Spanish, will be valued.

Specific Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• - Accreditation as an Assistant Professor from the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA).
• - A doctorate in historical sciences.
• - Hold a PhD at the time of signing the contract.
• - Provide a CV demonstrating relevant research experience.
• - Submit a letter of motivation.
• - Hold a work and residence permit before the contract is formalised, if you are a non-EU foreigner or cannot be included in the scope of application of international treaties concluded by the European Union and ratified by Spain.

Eligibility criteria

• • Adequacy of the CV (maximum 50)
• • Letter of motivation (maximum 20)
• • Experience in the field (maximum 30)

Minimum score to pass the selection process: 90/100 points.

Selection process

An interview will be conducted if the evaluation committee deems it necessary.

• • Registration form (online GAIA)

*Be in possession of the doctor's degree at the time of the formalization of the contract.

Additional comments

• Duration of the contract of employment: 12 months, renewable up to 31/12/2029.
• The candidate proposed for hiring must accept the job offer within 3 working days from the date of notification of the selection.
• Priority will be given to people with disabilities (Law 89/2015 of June 2, reserve of quota 2% in favour of people with disabilities in companies of 50 or more people).
• Be aware that the starting date sets in this offer is an estimate date. The official starting date will depend on the bureaucratic time that will take the preparation of the labour contract and presentation of the necessary documents to be hired by the selected candidate.
