• one teacher to a scientific-teaching position of the first category - assistant professor, for the scientific field of biomedicine and health, field of clinical medical science, branch of internal medicine at the Department of Medical Propaedeutics, for an indefinite period of time on a part-time basis with the obligation to conduct re-election or election to a higher position.

Applicants for the selection process must meet the requirements prescribed by the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette No. 119/2022), as well as the requirements laid down in the Ordinance on the Conditions for Appointment to Scientific Titles of the National Council for Science, Higher Education and Technological Development (Official Gazette Nos. 28/17, 72/19, 21/21, and 111/2022). They must also meet the conditions set by the Decision of the Rectors’ Conference on the Necessary Conditions for the Evaluation of Teaching and Professional Activities in the Procedure of Appointment to Scientific-Teaching Titles (Official Gazette No. 122/2017), and the Decision on Amendments to the Decision on the Necessary Conditions for the Evaluation of Teaching and Scientific-Professional Activities in the Procedure of Appointment to Scientific-Teaching Titles (Official Gazette No. 120/2021), as well as the conditions prescribed by the Ordinance on the Conditions and Procedure for Appointment to Titles at the University of Split School of Medicine. To apply for a competition, you must attach: handwritten application, CV with a description of teaching, scientific and professional work, copy of the diploma (attach a certificate or certificate of certification if the academic degree was obtained outside the Republic of Croatia), decision on the recognition of a foreign educational qualification for applicants who obtained their qualification abroad, for foreign citizens proof of knowledge of the Croatian language (C2) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, copy of the identification document, documents proving the required conditions, qualifications, and experience; evidence of meeting the conditions set by the Rectors' Conference; a presentation of teaching and scientific activities; a list of publications and publications relevant to the selection (separate publications in electronic format); or a decision on a previously conducted appointment.

Persons of both genders have the right to submit an application to the competition.

The faculty reserves the right, before making a decision on the selection, with candidates who submit a timely and orderly application and who meet the formal conditions of the competition, to conduct a test and/or interview of knowledge and skills. Candidates will be informed in a timely manner about the possible holding of testing and/or interviews. If the candidate does not attend the possible testing, it will be considered that he has withdrawn his application for the competition. The faculty reserves the right not to select any candidate for the this competition.

A person who has not submitted a timely and orderly application or who does not meet the formal conditions of the competition is not considered a candidate registered for the competition. An application that contains all data and attachments in the manner specified in the competition is considered a proper application. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.

For candidates registered for the competition, who meet the formal requirements, the employer reserves the right to check the knowledge, abilities and skills essential for performing the duties of the position and the interview. In the case of carrying out the aforementioned checks, candidates are obliged to attend them, otherwise they will be considered to gave up their application for the competition.

By applying to the competition, applicants expressly agree that the Faculty of Medicine in Split, as the manager of the collection of personal data, may use, collect and process data for the purpose of implementing the tender procedure in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation EU 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 .g.) and legal regulations.

A person who invokes the right to priority in employment pursuant to Article 102 of the Act on Croatian Veterans of the Homeland War and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette No. 121/17, 98/19 and 84/21 and Article 48 Paragraphs 1-3 of the Act on civilian victims of the Homeland War (Official Gazette No. 84/21), is obliged to refer to this right in the application to the public tender and to attach all prescribed documentation according to a special law with the application, and has priority over other candidates only under equal conditions .

A person who invokes the right of priority in employment in accordance with Article 102 of the Act on Croatian Veterans of the Homeland War and members of their families must submit all evidence of meeting the conditions of the competition with the application to the competition and, depending on the category in which he enters, all the necessary evidence (Article 103.1. of the Law) available on the link of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans:

A person who invokes the right to priority in employment in accordance with Article 48 of the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War must submit all evidence of fulfillment of the conditions of the competition, as well as evidence of fulfillment of the conditions for exercising the right of priority in employment, with the application to the competition (Article 49.para.1 of the Act) available on the link of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans:

A candidate who invokes the right of priority in accordance with Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities must, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions, attach proof of the established status of a person with a disability along with the application for the competition. .

A candidate who invokes the right of priority in accordance with Article 48.f of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Disabled Persons, along with the application for a public tender, must, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions, also attach proof of the established status of a person with with disabilities.

A candidate who exercises the right to priority in employment according to special regulations must refer to that right in the application for the competition, i.e. attach prescribed evidence of that status, evidence from which it is evident how the employment relationship with the last employer ended (contract, decision, decision, etc.) and proof that he is unemployed (certificate or record sheet from the Croatian Employment Service).

Candidates will be notified of the results of the competition within 15 days of the decision on the selection.

The deadline for submitting an application for this position is 30 days from the publication in the Official Gazette.
