job description

• Position: Post-Doctoral Researcher in organic and supramolecular chemistry, as part of the CoCat-Light project funded by the National Research Agency (ANR).
• Main objective: Develop a photocatalytic process for the preparation of supramolecular species of novel structures.
• Main activities:
1. Organic Synthesis: Perform multi-step syntheses of supramolecular receptors and characterize them (NMR, mass spectrometry, etc.).
2. Supramolecular Chemistry: Characterize interactions in supramolecular complexes and their optical and magnetic properties.
3. Photoreactivity: Optimize the photocatalytic process.
• Contribute to the scientific dissemination of results within the research group and through publications.
• Location: Laboratory in the Restrictive Zone (investigation prior to hiring required, up to 8 weeks).
• Must comply with the Working Law in France.

Qualifications

• Holder of a PhD in Organic Chemistry.
• Ideally experienced in organic synthesis, supramolecular chemistry, and photoredox chemistry.
• Rigorous and autonomous in work.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in English (level C1/B2) in a multicultural work context.
