Along with the written application for the competition, applicant must meet the conditions prescribed by The Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity and attach:

• • CV (Curriculum Vitae),
• • proof of the acquired academic degree of PhD
• • proof of meeting the requirements of the Ordinance on Requirements for Scientific Positions
• • proof of meeting the requirements of the Ordinance on Additional Requirements for Scientific Positions on the Croatian Geological Survey.

Eligibility criteria

If a candidate exercises the right to priority in employment under a special law, he or she is obliged to refer to that right in the application and has priority over other candidates only under equal conditions.

Candidates with advantage in accordance the Law on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families and the Law on the Rights of Civilian Victims of Homeland War are obliged to submit all necessary evidence listed at: https://branitelji.gov.hr / employment-843/843.

Selection process

The deadline is 30 days after the application has been published. Applications marked by „Application: Research Associate“ are to be sent to natjecaji@hgi-cgs.hr in a single .pdf file in Croatian or English language.

Candidates who meet the requirements will be invited to an interview or/and testing via the e-mail address they have provided.

The results will be published on www.hgi-cgs.hr within the legal deadline.
