We are looking for a candidate to carry out research in the framework of the project Attosecond Control of ultraviolet and Xray Induced biOlogical damage for potential Medical application (SYG-2024/TEC815 ACXIOM-CM).

Job description:

• The selected candidate shall:

• • Cooperate with the SyG team in the development and implementation of the methodology needed to carry out the project.
• • Study the electronic transfer processes generated by broadband pulses in donor-acceptor molecules.
• • Model molecular ionization and time-resolved photoelectron spectra to support the experiment performed within the consortium.

Requirements:

• • Research Field: Theoretical Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics, Theoretical Chemistry, Computational Physics, Computational Chemistry.
• • Education Level: PhD.
• • Previous experience: 2 years of postdoctoral experience
• • Good knowledge of operating systems, preferentially linux.
• • Programming in Fortran, C, C++ or Python.
• • Experience in the description of photoionization and photo excitation processes in molecules.
• • Communication skills in English.
• • Ability to work in a team, flexibility, and adaptability to handle multiple tasks.
• • To be positively valued: proactivity, enthusiasm and creative thinking, ability to work autonomously under group-oriented strategy.
