The research engineer will be responsible for supporting the UNESCO RELIA Chair team, as well as teacher-researchers from the LS2N computer science research laboratory, in several European projects focusing on the impact of generative AI on educational systems. These impacts are currently multifaceted:

- On assessment systems, examinations, and knowledge assessments;

- On student motivation;

- On teacher training for integrating these technologies into their profession;

- On the future education of students.

The projects we are conducting are in collaboration with teams in various European countries: Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, Spain, Germany, Slovenia, Lithuania, Norway, and Belgium, as well as within a broader context, particularly with several Latin American countries. More specifically, the research engineer will be responsible for:

- Monitoring the role of AI in education across different educational systems;

- Creating resources for teachers;

- Collaborating with international partners.

In addition, the research engineer will contribute occasionally to the activities of the UNESCO RELIA Chair and provide support for projects and/or events led by other team members.

Monitoring the role of AI in education across different contexts and educational systems will involve:

- Establishing a research protocol for monitoring developments;

- Conducting a review of the current state of AI in education according to different contexts and educational systems;

- Contributing to discussions on the implementation of ethical standards and governance frameworks for the responsible integration of AI.

Design and creation of educational resources on AI:

- Contributing to projects related to AI and its educational applications;

- Contributing to different phases of projects (design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation);

- Developing innovative materials;

- Collaborating with international institutional and academic partners;

- Supporting teachers and trainers in the appropriation of content;

Contributing to the activities of the UNESCO RELIA Chair:

- Participating in science outreach events;

- Writing articles for the Chair's website;

- Proofreading documents.
