The main tasks of the project focus on the development of an integrated system capable of connecting biological design based on artificial intelligence with biological hardware using molecular biology techniques and laboratory automation. By implementing a module that receives DNA as input, expresses the genotype in a biological system and extracts the phenotype through experimental assays. This phenotype must be subsequently encoded into a new DNA molecule. The tasks include the design of genetic libraries, the expression of sequences, the measurement of phenotypes, data analysis, among others.

Skills/Qualifications

  • • 1. Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Sciences (or related).
  • • 2. Experience:
    • - Experience in directed evolution within mammalian cells.
    • - Experience in molecular biology applied to selection techniques such as cis-display, proximity ligation or similar.
    • - Experience in in vivo validation of genome editing technologies.
    • - Experience in the development of CRISPR-based or other programmable genome editing technologies.
