Job Duties:

• • Independent research activities in the research field of the Chair of Management of Socio-Technical Transitions, with a focus on organizational and societal transformation processes in the context of digitalization
• • Participation in the Chair’s research projects, with a particular emphasis on digital transformation (e.g. platform economy), new organizational forms, and their transformative role in addressing societal challenges (e.g. climate change, gender equality, health)
• • Design, preparation, and delivery of courses
• • Supervision of Bachelor’s and Master’s theses
• • Participation in academic self-administration

Your Qualifications:

• • Excellent or very good Ph.D. in Business Administration, Sociology, or a related social science discipline
• • Research experience in digital transformation (e.g. platform economy) and new and open organizational forms (e.g. Open Social Innovation, distributed data governance)
• • Expertise in qualitative research methods (e.g. ethnography, participatory qualitative research)
• • Willingness to contribute to the acquisition of third-party funded research projects
• • Teaching skills and teaching experience (e.g. courses at Bachelor’s level)
• • International experience and integration into international research networks
• • Active engagement in academic communities
• • Initial publications in leading international peer-reviewed journals
• • Very good German and English skills (German level C1, English level C1)
