Skills/Qualifications

All applicants (M/F) have to meet the requirements specified by the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia No. 119/2022) and other relevant bylaws.

Specific Requirements

Both male and female candidates can apply for the competition under equal conditions in accordance with Article 13 of the Gender Equality Act (NN 82/2008, 125/2011, 20/2012, 138/2012, 69/2017).

All applicants who contest the right to employment under a special law, are obliged to invoke this right and enclose evidence of meeting these conditions to the application. The advantage over the other applicants is achieved only under equal conditions.

Applicants who invoke the right to employment under a special law in accordance with Article 102, items (1) to (3) of the Law on the Rights of Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Their Family Members (Official Gazette 121/17, 98/2019, 84/2021, 156/2023) are invited to submit the evidence referred to in Article 103, item (1) of the same Act, which is available at the Ministry of Croatian Veterans' link: https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843.

Applicants who invoke the right to employment under a special law in accordance with Article 48 of the Civilian Homeland War Victims (Official Gazette 84/2021) are invited to submit the evidence referred to in Article 49, item (1) of the same Act, which is available at the Ministry of Croatian Veterans' link: https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843.

Applicants who invoke the right to employment under a special law in accordance with Article 9 of the Law on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette 157/2013, 152/2014, 39/2018 and 32/2020) are invited to enclose proof of the established status of a person with disabilities.

Applicants who invoke the right to employment under a special law in accordance with Article 48.f of the Law on the Protection of War and Civilian Invalids (NN 33/1992, 57/1992, 77/1992, 27/1993, 58/1993, 2/1994, 76/1994, 108/1995, 108/1996, 82/2001, 103/2003, 148/2013, and 98/2019) are invited to enclose a decision or a certificate showing the aforementioned right, as well as proof of how the employment was terminated.
