IMT Atlantique is also awarded with the “Bienvenue en France” label, a recognition delivered by Campus France for our capacity to welcome and host international researchers in the best working conditions.

Topic open:

Robots, as technological artefacts, are subject to constraints related to electrical power supply, computing power and memory, and above all, cost. We will focus on robotic equipment frugality as a way to reduce the cost of a robotic manipulation setup. Our research hypothesis is that we can reduce the quantity of equipment necessary for executing bimanual robotic manipulation tasks, by transforming bimanual movements into monomanual movements through the use of static accessories. The goal is to develop the underlying theory for conversion of bimanual movements to monomanual movements with accessories, and develop the corresponding software implementation.
