A full-time position on a fixed-term contract to conduct research on the project “Social Criticism in Contemporary Croatian Novels” (PI: Mario Kolar) funded by the Croatian Science Foundation (IP-2025-02-8606)


Additional conditions (advantages): research experience in the fields of publishing and literature, published papers related to publishing and literary studies, experience working with publishers.

Skills/Qualifications

Applicants must meet the requirements of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Zakon o visokom obrazovanju i znanstvenoj djelatnosti, Official Gazette No. 119/22) and other legal acts that are based on it and are required to submit evidence of this.

Specific Requirements

Applicants are required to submit the following documents:

  • • a signed application,
  • • a curriculum vitae,
  • • a copy of the identity card,
  • • a copy of the PhD degree certificate,
  • • a report on previous scientific, teaching and professional activities with supporting documents
  • • a list of publications,
  • • copies of the relevant publications.

Applicants who have obtained a higher education degree outside Croatia are required to submit evidence of the degree’s recognition issued by the Croatian Agency for Science and Higher Education.

Applicants who are not Croatian native speakers must submit proof of proficiency in the Croatian language at the advanced level.

Individuals of both genders may apply under equal conditions.
