Eligibility criteria

• 1) PhD degree in Computer Science,
• 2) good knowledge of issues related to modeling and simulation of biological systems,
• 3) very good IT skills, in particular the ability to program in Python,
• 4) very good knowledge of machine learning methods, neural networks, and image recognition techniques,
• 5) experience in conducting scientific research, including the ability to prepare publications and present results at international conferences,
• 6) conscientiousness and high diligence in performing assigned tasks,
• 7) scientific achievements and organizational experience,
• 8) knowledge of English at least at the B2 level.

The recruitment procedure is divided into two stages:

• 1. formal assessment – assessment of the completeness of the application documents and compliance with the requirements specified in the Act, the AGH University Statute, and the competition announcement,
• 2. substantive assessment – an objective and merit-based assessment of applications submitted by candidates who have successfully passed the previous stage; interviews with candidates may be conducted at this stage (either in person or remotely).

The candidate has the right to appeal against the competition results within 5 working days after receiving the notification.
