The work will take place in Portugal (Lisbon).

The selected applicant will be integrated within the CESEM/NOVA – Centre for Music Studies, carrying out the following work plan:

The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for the audiovisual analysis of excerpts from operas available on streaming platforms. The material to be analyzed will be pre-selected by the Principal Investigator, in collaboration with the members of the research team. The results of the analysis are expected to be reported in articles to be submitted to journals relevant to the topic and presented

The fellowship will have a duration of fifteen (15) months, with an expected start date of 1 May 2026. The fellowship contract may not be renewed.

If such recognition has not yet been obtained at the time of application, candidates must submit a sworn statement declaring that they will obtain recognition before signing the fellowship contract if selected.
Nevertheless, presentation of the official recognition is mandatory at the time of contract signing.
