The Faculty of Space Technologies at AGH University of Krakow invites applications for an Assistant Professor to join a group of research and teaching staff. The position combines scientific research and teaching activities in the Space Technologies program.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. 1. PhD in the Field of Engineering and technology,
2. 2. declared discipline: automation, electronics, electrical engineering, and space technologies,
3. 3. knowledge of diagnostic techniques and experience working in vacuum conditions and/or with high voltages,
4. 4. research achievements,
5. 5. teaching achievements, including experience in teaching at the university level,
6. 6. organizational achievements,
7. 7. active participation in conferences and symposia,
8. 8. documented proficiency in English at a minimum of B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (for candidates whose native language is not English). 

Additional advantages:

1. 1. experience in space propulsion technologies,
2. 2. practical experience in the design, construction, and commissioning of experimental test stands,
3. 3. ability to analyze data and use numerical tools (e.g. simulations, modeling),
4. 4. experience in the implementation of research projects or participation in research grants,
5. 5. experience in international cooperation or cooperation with the industrial sector,
6. 6. ability to work in a team and communicate effectively in an international scientific environment,
7. 7. international internship experience.

POSITION TASKS:

1. 1. conducting research activities: design of experiments, evaluation of methods, analysis of results, and formulation of conclusions and recommendations,
2. 2. co-development and coordination of selected research activities within the emerging Advanced Space Propulsion Laboratory, including support for the organization of research infrastructure and work processes (in cooperation with the leader),
3. 3. conducting and co-conducting teaching activities, consultations, and supervision of students,
4. 4. preparation of scientific publications, conference presentations, and co-authorship of technical reports,
5. 5. analysis of experimental data and interpretation of results for publication purposes,
6. 6. participation in regular team meetings and support for scientific cooperation within the team.

3. 3. you have not been convicted for an intentional offence,
4. 4. you enjoy full public rights.
