The successful candidate will undertake research activities in optimising and managing resources, within the scope of the computing continuum (Cloud-Fog-Edge-IoT). Particular focus will be placed on seeking AIbased applications, using AI agents, using and adapting LLM models and the intent-based optimisation paradigm.

Skills/Qualifications

A Degree in Computer Engineering. A Master's Degree in Computer Science or similar.

Specific Requirements

Specific requeriments 

Python programming skills. Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and programming AI applications and agents. A clear intention to pursue a scientific research and write a PhD thesis. Fulfilling the conditions to enrol on the UIB PhD in Information and Communications Technology. 

Language requeriments

 There are no mandatory language requirements. A solid command of English would be a plus

Experience requirements

Although not essential, previous research work in the field of computer science would be a plus.
