The candidate will work on the "TWIN-X: Multimodal Digital TWINs with Generative AI for eXplainable Precision Medicine" project funded by the European Union, for the development of digital twins with the use of generative AI for oncological/cardiology applications.

 The candidate is expected to work as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Crete (Artificial Intelligence and Translational Imaging Lab, School of Medicine, Department of Radiology). The researcher selected will participate in Work Packages 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 with a focus on the following deliverables: 

• • Deliverables: D1.1, D1.3, D1.4, D1.5 Activity and Risk Monitoring System. 
• • Deliverable: D3.1 Final radiology embedding package with trained models, reference segments, and documentation. 
• • Deliverable: D3.3 Cross-modality calibration and confidence scoring pipeline with interface specification and exemplars. 
• • Deliverable D5.1 Projection heads and harmonised embedding schema v1.0 with uncertainty application programming interface and integration guide.
• • Deliverable: D5.2 Query Retrieval Fusion backbone v1.0 with interface specification and reference implementation 
• • Deliverable: D5.3 Interaction layer and reasoning v1.0 executed with test time compute. 
• • Deliverable: D5.4 Research software development kit and deployment playbooks v1.0. Deliverable: 
• • D5.5 Final multimodal benchmark and ablation report with reproducible artefacts. 
• • Deliverable D6.3 Oncology demonstrator interim results with preregistered analyses;
