• • One (1) position of Senior Research Assistant (m/f) in the scientific field of Transport and Traffic Technology (technical sciences), for a full-time, fixed-term position (2 years), at the Department of Intelligent Transport Systems, within the Croatian Science Foundation project UIP-2025-02-1083 titled: “Multi-stage Simulation Framework for evaluating the impact of Autonomous Mobility on Motorways throughput and safety (VAMONA)”.

A person may be employed in the position of senior assistant if they have been engaged in scientific work for up to ten years, calculated from the date of enrolment in a doctoral study programme.

Applicants applying for the vacancy must meet the general requirements prescribed by the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette No. 119/2022), and are required to submit appropriate evidence thereof.

Applicants shall submit a signed application, a CV in Europass format, proof of the acquired academic degree of Doctor of Science, and proof of citizenship (a copy of the certificate of nationality or identity card). It is also desirable to submit information on previous scientific, teaching and professional activities.

Applicants with foreign academic degrees must provide a decision on the recognition of foreign higher education qualifications (https://www.azvo.hr/hr/ured-enic-naric/priznavanje-kvalifikacija/) no later than by the conclusion of the employment contract, i.e. before commencing work.

Candidates exercising legal rights to employment preference must clearly indicate so in their application and submit all relevant supporting documents.
