A tender is open for the attribution of 1 Post-doctoral research fellowship within the scope of the R&D “Submerged arc additive manufacturing.” related to operation 015425 with reference LISBOA2030-FEDER00910700 and 2023.16315.ICDT, funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P./MCTES through national funds (PIDDAC) and the European Union's European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), through the programme.

Work Plan: The fellow will develop research in the field of materials and devices for energy storage, with an emphasis on: 

• • High-temperature processing of metals and oxides for microstructural control; 
• • Microstructural and mechanical characterization of the materials developed and processed; 
• • Participation in outreach activities associated with projects and other initiatives underway at the center.

Workplace: The work will be carried out in the CENIMAT|i3N laboratories of the Faculty of Science and Technology of Universidade Nova de Lisboa under the scientific supervision of Dr. João Pedro Oliveira, with the contracting entity being NOVA.id.FCT – Association for Innovation and Development of FCT.

Fellowship duration: The fellowship will last for 6 months, scheduled to begin in September 2026, possibly renewable within the duration of the project.

Application deadline and form of application submission: The competition is open from 22nd July 2026 to 4th August 2026.

Documents attesting the academic degrees obtained and the respective final grades* (at the application stage, these may be replaced by a declaration of honor, as stated in point no. 2);Note 1: For academic degrees awarded by foreign higher education institutions, it is mandatory to present proof of recognition of the academic degree and the conversion of the final classification to the Portuguese grading scale (process regulated by Decree-Law no. 341/2007 of October 12), or alternatively, to obtain equivalence/recognition of the academic degrees (process regulated by DecreeLaw no. 283/83 of June 21).
