The successful candidate will participate in marine research projects independently or alongside other research group members.

The position involves analysing large datasets and undertaking fieldwork, including snorkelling and/or scuba diving. Fieldwork will mostly be conducted in the Balearic Islands, although some activities may take place in other locations.

The position also involves molecular analysis using eDNA to detect species in water.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting field data, organising and analysing datasets (including large datasets), conducting meta-analyses and advanced data modelling, and contributing to preparing and writing scientific publications.
