Position description: The person will support the team in providing scientific input throughout research and development tasks, applying for financial support (R&D projects from national sources and European Commission as well) and conducting classes with students (all forms, in particular: laboratories, seminars, project). Those activities are related to thermoplastic polymer processing: novel composites, polymer blends and/or other engineered materials also those following circular economy rules (secondary ones).

Responsibilities: 

• • Preparation materials for newly opened didactic courses (including syllabus, and other materials to conduct the course);
• • Conduct classes with students at various hours and forms (laboratories, project, seminars)
• • Attending in conferences (materials preparation);
• • Applying for financial support from sources supporting scientific activity – internal ones (WUST Programs, like “Research Team Support”) and external ones as well (NCN, NCBR, EC);
• • Maintaining processing equipment (repair works: extrusion line, press molding, injection molding) and the facility itself (materials revenue and expense ledger, consumables, mechanical tools;
• • Providing external clients (enterprises) for R&D projects and commercial research as well;
• • Conducting own research (after agreement) but being in accordance with the team’s main scientific purposes. In particular: preparation of new materials based on thermoplastic (bio)polymer matrix filled with (sustainable) filler and characterization;
• • work on publications documenting obtained results, preparation of reports;
