Skills/Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher with a strong background in peptide synthesis and characterization to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, synthesizing, purifying, and characterizing peptides, contributing to innovative research projects in the field. We are looking for an individual who is independent, detail-oriented, and passionate about scientific research, with the ability to work both individually and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.

Specific Requirements

Proven experience in the synthesis and characterization of peptides

- Technical competencies: Proficiency in solid-phase peptide synthesis techniques using Fmoc/tBu and Boc/tBu strategies; Expertise in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC); Familiarity with MALDI-ToF mass spectrometry

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a research team

- Strong skills in critical analysis and interpretation of experimental data

- Relevant publications in the field of peptide synthesis are considered an asset

Additional Requirements/ Specific Requirements:

Participate in the fundamental research activity within the project
Prepare scientific publications
Participate in scientific events (e.g., conferences, workshops)
Report research outcomes

DUOCPP is an interdisciplinary project aiming the development of new peptides with high degree of cell membrane permeability and dual specificity for protein receptors overexpressed in cancer cells, for a selective, advanced targeted delivery.
